Thank you for your interest in First Baptist East.
Our children are very important to us because we understand that each child is a unique and precious individual. Aactivities and classes are designed to meet the needs of the whole child: mental, spiritual, social, emotional and physical. Our goal is to help guide children into a relationship that will lead to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to nurture them to grow as Christians. Leaders are screened, trained and equipped to help boys and girls learn to live for Christ.
   EACH SUNDAY MORNING, our children's ministry provides small group Bible study for kids grades 1-6. Our curriculum teaches the Bible using relevant and current information to help kids apply it to their lives today. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m.
   WOW stands for “Wanna Obey the Word”, James 1:22. Recreation, missions, discipleship and Scripture memorization are key elements in WOW. Each meeting will provide practical biblical answers in a fun, yet, interactive session of activities and games. WOW focuses on instilling Bible truth in the hearts and minds of each child that participates. Join us during the school year (September-May) Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.
   CHOIR - Our choir exist to teach music, worship, and Christian character to the next generation of church leaders. Our teachers create positive, fun, exciting, and rewarding experiences that will give children a lifelong appreciation for music and a place to serve the Lord. Sunday night at 6:00 p.m.
 
 

During the summer months on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 p.m. we offer Kids on Mission. During that time we study ways God is working around the world and we teach kids how they can be on mission for Christ. We play games, study missionaries and do mission projects.
