At First Baptist East, Connection Hour is one of the ways we connect people to Jesus, His Truth, His community, and His mission. We have Connection Groups for all ages and people in different life stages.
Our Connection Groups seek to study God’s Word together, reach out to people that need a relationship with Jesus or a church home, minister to one another and serve one another and others around them. We believe every Christian should be part of a group every week to aid in their spiritual growth and service.

Exploring Christianity’s 10 Toughest Questions
This dynamic video-based study answers tough questions about existence of God, Christianity and Islam, the reliability of the Bible, faith and science and many other issues. Best-selling author Lee Strobel hosts spirited discussions between well-respected Christians, people of other faiths or people with no faith at all on the most important spiritual and social issues.
Better (Woman)
This is a 10-week verse-by-verse study of the book of Hebrews just for women.
Overcoming Emotions that Destroy
This 10-week study is examining the power of anger and how it impacts our lives and it gives practical ways to overcome anger.
GriefShare
This is a support group for people who have lost loved ones. Each session you will hear from grief experts, have encouraging discussions and build relationships that will help you work through the grief process. This group will meet for 13 weeks.
