CONNECTION GROUPS

Sundays, 9 a.m. For All Ages
At First Baptist East, Connection Hour is one of the ways we connect people to Jesus, His Truth, His community, and His mission. We have Connection Groups for all ages and people in different life stages.

Our Connection Groups seek to study God’s Word together, reach out to people that need a relationship with Jesus or a church home, minister to one another and serve one another and others around them. We believe every Christian should be part of a group every week to aid in their spiritual growth and service.

If you are not already involved in a Connection Hour group you can fill out interest form by clicking the "Sign Up" button or come to the Connection Center in the South Lobby and we will assist you in finding a group just for you!

Come and join a group as we dive into the different topical studies offered during this time.  Here's the lineup for this winter:

Winter Classes Start January 19th

What on Earth is God doing in my life?, Room 121, led by Justin Walton
In this study you will discover how much God is involved in shaping your life for His glory and you will better understand how the circumstances of your life are evidence of God doing something special in you. This is a video study by Bruce Wilkinson. Cost is $7 for materials.

Ladies study, Room 123, led by Eileen Hilliard
This study for women goes through the book of Amos. He had a message that doesn't sound like a formula for a good life, but every condemnation he gives is actually an invitation to the good life! Cost is $20 for materials.
Survey of the Bible, Room 120, led by Doug Passmore
The teaching is by Bruce Wilkinson and you will be introduced to the big picture of God’s Word and how the Bible is God’s divine message to us. Cost  is $8 for materials.
70 x 7, Room 124, led by Trey Smart
